Armada's 4WD is so advanced, it responds to changing road conditions and continuously adjusts the amount of power distributed to each axle to help maintain control. The system automatically switches to 4WD to improve traction on lower friction surfaces, and switches back to 2WD for optimal fuel economy when more traction is available.
