They make cars every day – but have never driven one
For some women, the dream of driving may be blocked by a series of obstacles. Fear of making a mistake, lack of resources and support, or no time when pursuing a career could all prevent someone from getting behind the wheel. At Nissan’s Industrial Complex in Resende, Brazil, employees Ana Beatriz Correa, Camila Josué, Letícia Menezes and Michele de Souza help produce cars every day – even though they had never driven one.
To honor International Women’s Day, Nissan invited employees at the Resende factory to talk about their dream of driving. A few women were selected for a special driving class with Helena Deyama, a legendary rally driver from Brazil.
Do you like grilling and smoking meat? And how about feeding lots of friends at a tailgate party? If so, the Smokin’ TITAN is the vehicle for you. Nissan created this sizzlin’ hot barbecue on wheels for the 2018 Work Truck Show in Indianapolis. A one-off project vehicle that includes everything and the kitchen sink, the Smokin’ TITAN is based on a 2018 Nissan TITAN XD Gas King Cab. Brisket, anyone?
The acceleration of electrification was the key theme at the Nissan stand during this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Taking center stage was the world premiere of the all-electric ABB FIA Formula E Championship race car, seen in its concept livery for the first time. The car will make its city circuit debut at the start of the 2018/19 season later this year.

Nissan electric vehicle ambassador Margot Robbie today revealed during her first ever Facebook livestream that Nissan will premiere its new Formula E electric concept livery at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6.
In another first, the cameras, lights and equipment used to broadcast the live appearance were powered by the new Nissan LEAF battery.
Nissan announced last October that it will enter the fast-growing Formula E series in the 2018/19 season. The all-electric series gives Nissan a highly visible global platform from which to spread the message of Nissan Intelligent Mobility – the three-pillar strategy to redefine how its vehicles are driven, powered and integrated into society.
It’s a date! All-new Nissan Altima to make its global debut at the 2018 New York International Auto Show

Nissan’s all-new Altima will make its world debut at the 2018 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) on March 28.
New Yorkers have always loved the Altima, making the Northeast region the most popular market for Nissan’s best-selling sedan and NYIAS the ideal place to reveal the next generation.
This year’s auto show is open to the public March 30 – April 8.

For the first time ever, Nissan is offering a factory-authorized suspension lift kit for select models of the TITAN and TITAN XD full-size pickups. The bolt-on kits, developed by California-based ICON Vehicle Dynamics, offer a more aggressive exterior appearance, increased ground clearance and a suspension lift of up to three inches. Constructed for TITAN and TITAN XD Crew Cab 4×4 models, the suspension lift kits will be available beginning spring 2018.
“We worked with ICON, a proven name in suspension lift-kit engineering, to develop the first kits to be offered through our Nissan dealer network,” said Billy Hayes, division vice president, LCV and Trucks, Nissan North America, Inc. “They came back to us with a kit that is easy to install, maintains TITAN and TITAN XD’s impressive factory payload and towing capabilities, and allows the trucks to be returned to stock for resale or end-of-lease return.”
