The Nissan TITAN half-ton pickup enters the 2019 model year with a range of enhancements – starting with an all-new Fender® Premium Audio System. It is offered on four 2019 TITAN Crew Cab grade levels and one TITAN King Cab model. The system’s 485-watt, 9-channel amplifier with Panasonic’s proprietary Acoustic Motion Control™ renders the reverberation and ambience of original recordings with stunning realism. It is designed to provide the precise, tight bass sound control usually reserved for a studio rather than a full-size pickup. The result is the delivery of “arena-sized sound” to the roomy TITAN Crew Cab and King Cab cabins.
Other changes for 2019 include:
• A new 7.0-inch touchscreen audio/IT display with NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ – standard on all models
• New Rear Door Alert (RDA) system1, which helps remind drivers to check the back seat after the vehicle is parked, added as standard equipment on TITAN King Cab and Crew Cab models
• An additional USB media port (two total)
• A pair of illuminated USB-A charge ports is added to PRO-4X, SL and Platinum Reserve grades
• A new body-color outer grille with gloss metallic black inner treatment for the SV grade (replaces the previous chrome grille treatment)
• Two new exterior paint colors: Midnight Pine Metallic and Moab Sunset Metallic
As part of a Nissan model line initiative, the innovative Rear Door Alert (RDA) system is now standard on all King Cab and Crew Cab TITAN models. The system uses the vehicle’s door sensors, horn and message display to help remind drivers to check the back seat after the vehicle is parked. Nissan plans to have RDA standard on all four-door trucks, sedans and SUV nameplates by model year 2022.
Again in 2019, TITAN is available in a full range of rugged half-ton models, including Single Cab, King Cab and Crew Cab body configurations, 4×2 and 4×4 drive, and a choice of up to five grade levels. Every TITAN is powered by a 390-horsepower 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 gasoline engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The TITAN Midnight Edition Package, introduced last year, is again available on Crew Cab SV and SL grade 4×4 and 4×2 models, providing a custom look straight from the factory.
Like the TITAN XD, the TITAN was developed with core Nissan planning, design, engineering and manufacturing teams contributing from Tennessee, California, Michigan, Arizona and Mississippi. The TITAN is assembled in Canton, Mississippi, with its V8 engines assembled in Decherd, Tennessee.2
Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices will be announced at a later date.
