New Nissan Pathfinder to Feature Panoramic Glass Roof

While other automakers continue to shrink the size of their SUV offerings, Nissan plans to do no such thing. Rather, the Nissan Pathfinder is set to gain some serious improvements in the 2012 model year, and the company is set to debut it at the North American International Auto Show.
It goes without saying, of course, that we here at Passport Nissan are quite excited for the big reveal. What exactly will the next-gen Pathfinder feature? Among the more enticing features is one that outdoor enthusiasts are sure to love: A full panoramic glass roof. That's right, this isn't a small sliver carved into the top of the SUV. Rather, it's a fully rising glass roof that gives you a full scope of Mother Nature, without having to completely sacrifice the roof all together.
So far, the Nissan has only released a brief teaser image and short video on their website outlining the new roof. However, the body of the vehicle looks completely energized in the still image and the roof is fully explained in the short video.
Still, for firm details on the next-gen Nissan SUV will have to wait for the 2012 North American International Auto Show. And, considering the fact that the show kicks off next week...
